If you have a desktop computer then you know how much space they can take up. You need to have places for all the components to fit. Often a regular desk just doesn’t do the job because the keyboard will feel awkward and out of place in comparison with where the monitor is sitting. The legs can also either be mounted on wheels or not. Having the legs mounted on wheels gives the added advantage of making the whole desk mobile.
